Like the ingredients we use in our kitchens, part of what makes New England Culinary Institute special is where we began and what surrounds our campus here in Vermont, our terroir. Montpelier is surrounded by small farms, forest-covered mountains, cold and clear rivers. The summers are glorious for their bounty and the sharp bite of winter encourages everyone to find a cozy blanket and a bowl of soup. To understand what makes NECI different from other culinary schools, we welcome you to visit us and our home here among the Green Mountains. Open your senses to see, smell, hear, taste, and touch, to learn why our graduates are among the most sought-after in the country. Visiting our campus is an essential part your discovery and we encourage you to schedule a tour, attend an open house or a shadow day. While you are here, you will meet staff, faculty and students, and learn more about our programs, financial aid and externships.
