If I’m not eligible or have missed the deadline what do I do?
Out-of-sequence students who complete all necessary degree requirements and have been cleared by the Registrar after the June graduation date will be eligible to have their degree conferred at a later conferral date in July, October or the following January, depending on when your requirements are completed.
If I am an out-of-sequence student, will I be able to attend the June graduation ceremony?
Absolutely, as long as you have completed all of your degree requirements and are eligible to graduate. You will need to fill out the Application to Graduate form and be cleared by the Registrar. Additionally you should have no outstanding financial obligations to NECI.
What if I was supposed to graduate this past June and my name was in the printed program, but I did not attend?
You will not be allowed to walk through another graduation ceremony unless you have earned another degree.
What if I am participating in the ceremony and have limited mobility or special needs?
Please contact us as soon as possible to make special arrangements. Please contact the Registrar’s Office at (802) 225-3246.
