I spent six years living and working in Las Vegas as a restaurant manager. Since then I have been in Jacksonville, FL working as the Director of Operations for Chartwells Dining at the University of North Florida.

Remembering NECI: I believe that the hands on approach at NECI prepared me for internships better than students from any other school. This allowed me to advance more quickly through different jobs during internship and ultimately prepared me for my second year at NECI.
I gained a significant amount of experience in a short period of time. The Chefs at NECI were very passionate about teaching and food and provided a world class education. Vermont allows you to have a true appreciation for the different seasons and the food related to the different seasons. I do not think I have had a fiddlehead since I left Vermont!
