I was fortunate enough to secure two great internships in New York City through NECI. I have been pursuing my passion for great food, complimenting the rigorous kitchen work with as much travel as I could afford. Currently, I am Head Chef and Team Leader for Whole Foods Market in London.
Remembering NECI: I truly learned to cook at NECI. The hands-on approach is the only way to learn how and develop the craft. My internships were challenging, and they pushed me further and harder than anything previous. I stayed at my second internship for seven years, working through the ranks. Chef Michel LeBorgne was not totally fond of me, but he taught me so much, and now we are friends! As for Vermont, I will always have a place in my heart for good old Vermont. It is a beautiful setting, and as an avid skier and bicyclist I can highly recommend Vermont as a great place to live!
