Scottsdale, AZ
AOS Culinary Arts 2002

As soon as I left NECI I immediately opened my own restaurant in Teton Valley, ID. I sold that business in 2007 and moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where I am currently employed as an Executive Chef by a family restaurant group. We have three outlets with two concepts and are working on a third concept to be opened early 2011.

Remembering NECI: NECI was an exceptional experience for me. It allowed me to focus all of my attentions and interests into one avenue of study. I felt supported and encouraged to grow as a person as well as a chef. I had such a positive experience on my internship in Idaho that I returned there later in order to open my own restaurant. Lastly, Vermont is a beautiful state with wonderful people. There is a strong love of food, farming, seasonality, and sustainability in New England.

I'm happy to answer your questions.
