Students enrolled in a New York ProStart® culinary program may take an online Theory Class and may be eligible for a scholarship to New England Culinary Insitute.

Step One

• Complete all items on this checklist by December 18, 2009:
  • Application ($50 application fee is waived)
  • Essay
  • Online Learning Survey
  • Chef/Counselor recommendation
  • Official copy of transcripts from Tech Center
• Confirm acceptance into the program
   

Step Two

• Attend the “Quick-Fire Weekend” on May 14, 2010 in Vermont
• Actively participate in the Cooking Theory course
• Attain a “Meets or Exceeds Standards” in the course

Step Three

• Enroll in a Bachelor's or Associate of Occupational Studies degree program for NECI’s July 2010 or Oct0ber 2010 Term and use your scholarship to help finance your education!
• Redeem $6,000 scholarship* for enrollment in the July 2010 class. Renewable second year.
• Redeem your $3,000 scholarship* for enrollment in the October 2010 class. Renewable second year.
  *Quick-Fire Scholarships may not be combined with any other NECI Scholarships.
