High School Seniors
If you’re a high school senior with a passion for food and a commitment to excellence, make New England Culinary Institute your first choice for a culinary education.
NECI has been hailed as one of the top three culinary schools in the nation,* and for good reason. With an intense curriculum and a strong tradition for hands-on learning, we immerse our students from day one in the passionate business of food.
Learning at NECI is much more than watching demonstrations or theorizing in a classroom. You’ll build your culinary skills by working elbow-to-elbow with more than 55 culinary, baking and pastry chef instructors in real-life food service situations. You’ll spend each day immersed in our celebrated bakeries, restaurants and cafeterias, developing practical skills and knowledge and preparing delicious, nutritious food for real customers.
Plus, you’ll work with other students in classes that may be smaller than your typical high school classes. NECI has one of the lowest teacher-student ratios in culinary education, with no more than 10 students in a production class. You can even get a jump on your education and apply for our July start date. Outside the classroom, you’ll take part in internships at world-class restaurants around the country and the world. Paid internships are available.
Start your culinary career with NECI, and find tremendous opportunities ahead.
