During new and returning student orientations the policies and procedures concerning fire safety are reviewed with the students. Currently new staff are given an orientation session where general safety which includes fire safety information.

Plans for future improvements in Fire Safety

We plan on conducting fire drills in our offices and restaurants. The frequency of the fire alarms in the student housing units has made planned drill less necessary. We will do those drills also to be sure the evacuation instructions are being followed.

We will promote fire safety and general safety into the new staff hire orientations.

We will be incorporating an Emergency Response Plan that will incorporate a comprehensive emergency notification system and response procedures.
