Program Schedule:
The Supervision in the Hospitality Industry course is designed to be a series, and participants should plan on attending all four of the sessions listed. Each session covers different information, but all sessions build upon one another.
When a participant completes the entire Supervision in the Hospitality Industry series they will receive a Certificate of Completion from the New England Culinary Institute Continuing Education Division.

The Vermont Hospitality Institute is funded through a generous WETF Grant from the State of Vermont.
While participants are not required to pay tuition for the Supervision in the Hospitality Industry program, employers must be willing to compensate their employees at their regular wage or minimum wage (whichever is greater) for hours attended.
There will be a two participant per organization limit for this series.
Employer Obligation
As part of the grant requirements employers must agree to offer a promotion or provide a pay increase to employees who successfully complete this series of classes and receive a Certificate of Completion.
Once we receive the completed registration form we will contact employers to discuss these options and to complete an agreement.
Meet Your Instructor
Terri Taylor
Vermont Hospitality Institute —
New England Culinary Institute Division of Continuing Education
For the past 15 years, Terri Taylor has provided business and human resource planning, along with training and development expertise to many industry sectors—such as government, tourism, manufacturing, healthcare and banking.
Her responsibilities have included management of Human Resources and Training/Education Departments, curriculum development, customer relationships, marketing and sales. Terri has worked with Vermont State Colleges for six years to focus on delivering educational and organizational development services to numerous organizations. She has assessed corporations of all sizes, developed and delivered extensive training and educational programs and provided organizational development and guidance.
Currently Terri owns a small consulting firm with two business partners.
